Thomas Homes & Communities is a prominent name in the Active Adult Building Industy. Headed by Roger Thomas, the company has been building Active Adult homes since 1995.
An Ohio native, Roger graduated from the Ohio State University in 1975 with a degree in Industrial Design. Upon graduation, he started a hardware, animal feed and farm supply store in Northern Ohio. While growing his business, Roger identified a need for housing designed for an aging population. He sold his company and returned to Ohio State to study Finance and Real Estate. He graduated with his second degree in 1994 and launched Thomas Homes & Communities.
Roger and his wife, Barb, live in New Braunfels, Texas.
MATTHEW THOMAS
Vice President
A second generation Real Estate developer, Matthew holds a degree in Finance from Auburn University and a Masters in Land Development from Texas A&M University.
Mathew has been involved in the family businesses since the age of 13 and is passionate about expanding the family business and continuing the legacy his father started, over two decades ago.
STEVE KIRSCHNER
Chief Financial Officer
Steve is a Lead Partner on Kirschner Weeks, LLP; a Certified Public Accounting and Business Consulting Practice firm that has been serving metro Atlanta since 1992. The firm has a heavy concentration of clients in the construction industry. Steve Kirschner has an advisory role to Thomas Homes & Communities and monitors all financial data and reporting.
